I have been working in the online gambling and gaming platform industry for more than ten years.
In the early stage of my career, I was deeply involved in building traditional gambling platforms from the ground up — from core account systems and payment integrations, to risk control, anti-fraud mechanisms, and data analytics. Later, I experienced several major transitions in the industry, including the rise of mobile platforms, the integration of cryptocurrency, multi-wallet architectures, and cross-border compliance challenges.
Over the years, I have served as a technical lead, a product owner, and an operations manager. I have personally taken projects from 0 to 1, and I have also witnessed many failures caused by poor system architecture, weak risk control, or wrong operational decisions.
Many people believe that building a gambling website is simply about buying a system, integrating a few game providers, and spending money on traffic. In reality, what determines whether a platform can survive long-term is the design of the account system, the structure of fund flows, risk control rules, user lifecycle management, and the team’s decision-making at different stages.
